Export Controls Policy

FissionPoint Assurance is committed to full compliance with all applicable export control laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the U.S. Department of State’s International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and U.S. nuclear export control laws and regulations — including those under the Atomic Energy Act, 10 C.F.R. Part 810 (administered by the Department of Energy), and, where applicable, 10 C.F.R. Part 110 (administered by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission). These authorities govern the transfer of sensitive information, technology, and defense-related services to foreign persons or entities.

Purpose

This policy affirms our commitment to operating within the boundaries of applicable export control laws and ensures that any engagement, service, or communication involving controlled information is handled lawfully and responsibly.

Scope

This policy applies to all activities of FissionPoint Assurance, including services provided to clients, correspondence with external parties, and publication or disclosure of technical data, whether in the United States or abroad.

Controlled Information

FissionPoint Assurance does not knowingly receive, handle, or transmit export-controlled technical data unless formally authorized to do so under an appropriate agreement or license. This includes information designated under ITAR, EAR, or other regulatory regimes.

Clients remain responsible for identifying any data subject to export controls. If export-controlled information must be shared, it must be clearly marked, and proper safeguards must be established before transmission.

International Engagements

International engagements may be subject to additional compliance requirements, including licensing and prior authorization. FissionPoint Assurance will not proceed with cross-border activities involving controlled information without appropriate approvals.

No Unintentional Transfers

Information shared during exploratory conversations, public events, or on this website is not intended to include export-controlled technical data. If you believe a disclosure may involve such information, contact us in advance to discuss compliance requirements.
